    Chemical Peels

Does anyone know what the benefits are of going to the Dermatologist and having a chemical peel done?

I have never had a chemical peel performed, however I have heard that it can be quite painful and it does  not always make such a major difference.

Even I came to know the pain do exist while going for a chemical peel......I think it woukd be better if we go for a natural resources for such cases......specially the medicated herbs and powders.....

    Re: Chemical Peels

I think a peel is great but you should consult with your dermatologist to see if you're a good candidate.  I agree with Robert that it's better to go the wholistic, internal health way by looking at what you eat and supplementing.  But I don't think a peel would hurt.  It could help you along the way.  On another note, I have a friend who got some amazing results doing some program with Market America.  It was topical, I think but she said it changed her life.  I'm not sure about it or any other program since I'm concerned about being tied to a product for the rest of my life but if anyone is interested, I will ask her and post...
