    New York's Congestion Pricing

The deadline for the congestion pricing for commuters that come in to New York City during rush hour.  Will you be impacted greatly by the toll?  Will it effect your commute?  Do you think it will help the enviornment?

    Re: New York's Congestion Pricing

It's six in one hand half a dozen in the other.  I don't drive in to Manhattan everyday, but some days I do.  If the toll is imposed, it will deter me from driving in on those days.  I think the pricing is a bit high, especially for trucks that sometimes have to come in and out several times a day.  At $21.00 a trip it's not doubt going to impact deliveries.

However, I am very much in favor of improving the enviornment.  Whether this gets passed or not, the buses need to be immeadiately made more enviornmently friendly.  If the polls are put into place therre will be a lot more people riding the buses and subways.  Therefore accodomations should be made for that crowd, and it's more than the 2nd Ave subway line.  Which I personally think is an excuse they have been using far to long.  There are more people in the outer boroughs than people on the east side.  Furthermore the 2nd Ave subway line has been in the works already for years.  This was one of the excuses used the last two times the fares was increased.
